Trayne SMS Coaching Opt-In

Trayne offers optional SMS coaching for users who want to receive conversational coaching replies, workout reminders, and plan updates by text. SMS is not required to use Trayne.

How Users Opt In

  1. Open the Trayne iOS app.
  2. Navigate to Menu → Settings → Text Coaching.
  3. Enter a mobile phone number.
  4. Check the unchecked-by-default consent box agreeing to receive SMS text messages from Trayne.
  5. Review the disclosure shown on the same screen, including message categories, message frequency, rates disclosure, and STOP/HELP instructions.
  6. Tap Send Code. The button remains disabled until the consent box is checked and a phone number is entered.
  7. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to the provided phone number.
  8. After verification, the phone number is linked for SMS coaching.

Consent Disclosure Shown In App

Users are shown the following disclosures on the opt-in screen before SMS can be enabled:

  • Trayne branding is shown on the consent screen.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchasing or using Trayne.
  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out.
  • Reply HELP for help.
  • Links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are shown on the same screen.

What Messages Users Receive

  • Coaching replies to user-initiated text questions
  • Workout reminders
  • Training plan updates and account-related coaching notifications

Trayne does not use this SMS program for promotional or marketing campaigns.
